The Ogle County long term recovery committee has been formed as a central point for identification of short and long term needs for families affected by the storm on April 9th.
179 structures were damaged in Ogle County the evening the tornado hit. This includes around 30 homes destroyed or damaged in subdivisions in rural Rochelle.
The committee will help families connect with the appropriate resources they need. Each impacted family will be contacted by the end of next week, May 15th. If you have not been contacted by May 18th, please call Jenny Thompson at City Hall at 561-2006.

Area Community Foundation
**Service Club Chairperson: Dr. Joe Thiele, Rochelle Lions Club
**Natural Resources Chairperson: Eric Christensen from the Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District
Donated funds for the victims of the tornado will be distributed at a later date.
