Congressman Adam Kinzinger from the 16th Congressional District made a stop in Rochelle earlier Monday as he talked with business and school leaders.
Around 20 people were in attendance and asked questions in severals areas from job training, health coverage, along the minimum wage and immigration reform.
Kinzinger did talk about the tornado that struck Rochelle and Fairdale last month. He does not believe any federal funds will be available for residents in those 2 communities.
He also mentioned some the key issues on the minds of business owners. Kinzinger said that people like to talk about jobs, the tax code, along with national defense.
Kinzinger was in Rochelle for around 45 minutes.
