Illinois lawmakers are working towards reversing a number of cuts made by Governor Rauner to social services and public health programs. The state Senate approved a bill yesterday that would restore around 26-million-dollars in funding for a number of programs including those that help people quit smoking and children with autism. The Illinois House is next up to consider the bill.
