An Open House will be held this afternoon between 3 and 6 for the new Ogle County Public Safety Complex located in Oregon.
The 4.1 million dollar 1-story facility is on South 1st Street next to the current sheriff's administration building.
The Public Safety Complex will include the sheriff's department and communication center along with the Coroner's office and morgue.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is schedule for 3 tomorrow afternoon with several area officials attending the event.
Area residents can tour the building from 3 until 6.
Future plans are to demolished the current sheriff's adminstration building and use the area for parking.
Employees for the sheriff's department and coroner's office are scheduled to be in the new building on Monday.
