Rochelle woman back in court following stabbing incident

A Rochelle woman was back in Ogle County court yesterday for a status hearing in connection with  a stabbing incident last week.

35-year old Heather Harms has been charged with the felony offense of aggravated battery.

The domestic altercation took place on March 26th in the 11,000 block of East Fisher Road. The 25-year old male victim was not seriously injured after being stabbed in the upper chest area with a knife. He refused medical treatment at the scene.

In court yesterday, Harms requested time to hire an attorney in her case. The status hearing was continued to May 1st in Oregon.

Harms is out of jail after posting 10 percent of her $100,000 bond.
