Sycamore Police are looking for a Rochelle man who was allegedly involved in a hit and run incident last weekend which injured a Cortland resident.
Police say that 27-year old Justin Dueringer injured 35-year old Brad Holler by hitting him with a car he was driving early Sunday morning.
The incident took place a short time before 2am on Elm Street near the intersection of California Street in Sycamore.
Authorities say that Holler was walking in the street when struck by the car. He remains in critical condition at a Rockford Hospital.
A warrant has been issued for Dueringer's arrest. The charges include failure to report and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, aggravated reckless driving, and driving on a suspended license.
The Rochelle man was also wanted involving an Ogle County warrant for fleeing to elude charges.
Reports indicate that Dueringer returned to Rochelle after the incident, but local police could not locate him Sunday morning.
Anyone with information of his whereabouts should call the Sycamore Police Department at 895-3435 or DeKalb County Crime Stoppers at 895-3272.
