A proposal to raise Illinois' minimum wage to ten-dollars an hour by 2016 is moving to the House floor. It received committee approval yesterday. Representative Arthur Turner says it's the first step of many in sending his bill to Governor Rauner's desk. A Senate version waiting to be called before a committee in the House would increase the minimum wage to eleven-dollars by 2019.
