Governor Rauner talks with area mayors today about budget cuts

Governor Rauner is expected to make stops in Rockford and Freeport today. He'll meet with area mayors to talk about the impact a 50 percent cut in state aid would have on Illinois cities. So far, Governor Rauner has avoided discussing any tax hikes. He claims taxpayers are against them.
