A cold February has pushed the temperatures in Illinois this winter below normal. The average temperature for the three-month meteorological winter, December through February, was 26-point-one-degrees, about seven-and-a-half-degrees below normal. Precipitation for the season was about one-point-eight-inches below normal at four-point-97-inches.
