The cause of a fire which did extensive damage to the Rochelle Truck Center this past weekend remains undetermined at this time.
The blaze took place Saturday evening a short time after 5. RTC is located at 1631 South Main Street.
The flames were contained in the office area on the south side of the building. There was extensive smoke and heat damage throughout the facility.
Rochelle Fire Chief Brian Johnson said that the fire started near a desk in the office area. The exact cause remains unknown due to the damage done inside the building.
No one suffered any injuries from the fire. Area departments were on the scene for several hours.
Cost damage is estimated to be in the 6 figure range.
