An Ogle County judge set bond at $100,000 yesterday for a Davis Junction man in connection with an alleged sexual abuse incident earlier this month.
51-year old Michael Koch has been arrested on the felony offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Ogle County Sheriff's Police received word of the alleged incident on February 11th. It involves a juvenile who reported inappropriate contact from Koch. The alleged confrontation took place in rural Davis Junction.
Authorities say that Koch knew the victim.
He returns to court today for an arraignment as a public defender is scheduled to be appointed. Koch can not have any contact with the victim or anyone 18 years of age or younger if he does post bond.
He remains in the Ogle County jail in lieu of the $100,000 bond.
