An Ogle County judge set bond at $100,000 yesterday for a Davis Junction man involving a sexual abuse case.
Sheriff's police arrested 41-year old Agustin Romero Monday night on the Class 2 felony offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The alleged incident took place in December of last year involving sexual contact with a minor. Authorities say that Romero knew the victim.
He is scheduled to return to court today in Oregon for a status hearing. Romero remains in jail in lieu of bond.
