There are now eleven confirmed cases of the measles in Cook County. Health officials say the most recent case is an infant who had been monitored for several days. Ten of the eleven cases have been linked to the five babies discovered with the disease last week at the KinderCare Learning Center in Palatine. A KinderCare spokesperson says five children who fell ill as a result of the measles cluster have been cleared to return to the daycare center. Those five children were said to be too young to receive the proper vaccination.
