Powdered alcohol is creating a buzz in some areas across the nation, but Illinois lawmakers are taking steps to keep it off store shelves. State Senator Ira Silverstein has introduced a bill that would ban a product known as "Palcohol," which is supposed to hit the market sometime this spring. Silverstein says banning the product is an issue of public safety but the makers of Palcohol say keeping it off the shelves will only force people to buy it on the black market.
