A Mt. Morris man has received a sentence of 36 years in prison after he was found guilty of 3 counts involving the felony offense of predatory criminal sexual assault.
33-year old Josiah Wills was arrested following an investigation by the Mt. Morris police.
The incident took place between May 1st of 2013 and January 31st of 2014. Authorities say that Wills new the female victim.
The Shining Star organization assisted in the investigation.
Wills will serve 85 percent of the 36 year prison sentence or around 30 years. He was sentenced by Associate Circuit Judge John Redington.
The jury trial took place in October of last year.
