The poor economy is apparently driving people out of Illinois. Michael Lucci, with the Illinois Policy Institute, says nearly 95-thousand people left Illinois last year. He says many of them moved to other states so they could find work and, they took their money with them. The rough estimates reveal that Illinois' state and local governments lost about 350-million dollars in tax money because of the migration.
