There are now more than 91-thousand guns on the streets of Illinois than there were a year ago, thanks to the state's concealed carry law. Illinois State Police say they issued 91-thousand-six-hundred-51 permits last year and denied more than 23-hundred applications. Cook County has the most permits with nearly 24-thousand, followed by Will County with six-thousand, DuPage with 55-hundred, Lake with 42-hundred and Madison with 33-hundred.
