Illinois is one of the states leading the way in cracking down on drunk drivers. The latest Mothers Against Drunk Driving Report to the Nation gave Illinois a five-star rating. That goes to states that have adopted all of the countermeasures that MADD encourages, including sobriety checkpoints, revoking driver's licenses, and ignition interlocks. According to the report, Illinois has seen a reduction in drunk driving deaths since 2009.
