Illinois State troopers will on the look out starting this weekend by conducting holiday roadside checks. Checkpoints will be set-up looking for drunk drivers and people not wearing seat belts. Also tickets will be given to drivers that talk on their cell phones, as well as text. The Illinois Department of Transportation boasts that this year has seen the lowest amount of motor vehicle deaths since 2009.
