The approval of the tax levy ordinance, an update report on the move for Regional Ready Mix, along with sewer use ordinance tops the agenda this evening for village officials in Hillcrest.
The board meeting begins at 7.
The new location for Regional Ready Mix will be near the intersection of Illinois 251 North and Lind Road. They had their business in the 400 block of River Road for over 8 years.
The sanitary sewer ordinance includes permit and inspection fees which would cover the village's cost of the work. Hillcrest has already received a $450,000 C-DAP grant for the project.
They have also applied for an Illinois EPA Loan of 2.5 million dollars which involves 63 homes along with the business area. The village should know by late spring or early summer of 2015 if they will receive the loan.
The board will also hear the tri-annual report from water operator Jerry Bever dealing with cross connection control and his contract with the village.
Tonight's meeting at the Hillcrest Village Hall Building is open to the public.
