The tow fund issue dealing with the Ogle County Sheriff's Department still remains unsolved dealing with money missing.
Following a report from a Naperville company last October, over $13,600 was unaccountable in the tow fee fund between October 2011 and January of this year.
Michael Harn was sheriff in Ogle County during this time.
During this week's program "Let The People Know", Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle talked about the tow fund and it's future. He said an audit is currently being done on the fund. VanVickle said that there are systems they can look into in an attempt to find the money.
The sheriff said that the public has a right to know what happened to the money.
VavVickle said that the files on Harn's computer were removed prior to him leaving office.
