Millions of people are hitting the roads for the holiday, but they aren't the only ones. State troopers are boosting patrol and conducting more roadside safety checks. The troopers will be looking for people are drunk, not strapped in, or using their cell phones. Seven people died on Illinois roads during the Thanksgiving holiday last year. Three of those fatalities involved a drunk driver.
