2 Rochelle men have received prison sentences after pleading guilty to felony charges.
The 1st case involves 45-year old Bartt Milligan who pled guilty to the felony offense of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cocaine.
During a traffic stop by Rochelle police in April of 2013, they found 13 individual bags of cocaine in the car. Mulligan's vehicle was originally stopped for speeding.
He pled guilty to the offense last Friday and received a sentence of 7 years in the Department of Corrections.
Milligan had also been charged with unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis as 8 individal bags were found in the car. That charge was dismissed by the state following the felony guilty plea.
44-year old Vincent Swope was sentenced to 6 years in prison after he pled guilty to 1 count of child pornography.
He had originally been charged with 31 counts of the felony offense. The arrest took place in October of 2013 at 5135 Wendell Drive in Rochelle. Local police analyzed numerous items at the home which included computers and digital media.
The other 30 charges were dismissed by the state following the guilty plea.
Swope was also arrested on the charge of criminal sexual abuse. He plead guilty to that offense and sentenced to 2 1/2 years probation that will run consecutive with the child pornography case. He also can not have any contact with the victim.
