The Rochelle Township High School board heard a positive report last night dealing with the financial status for the district.
Numbers from the Fiscal year 2014 audit were talked about. Superintendent Jamie Craven said that the district is working with another balanced budget. They continue to watch expenditures for the future.
The board plans to approved the tax levy for the district during their December meeting. The tax rate will be going down by 5 cents. It will total $2.54.
Employment last night included Tina Mollet as Assistant Speech Coach and Jarrod Reynolds at Assistant Boys Basketball Coach.
The board also heard a presentation for the 1st time involving a possible YMCA coming to Rochelle. A location or cost of the facility has yet to be determined as it would be associated with the YMCA in DeKalb.
The board did not go into executive session last night.
