Ogle County State's Attorney Mike Rock will remain as a prosecutor when he leaves his current job at the end of the month.
He has been named the new Deputy State's Attorney in Winnebago County.
Rock, who is 47 years old, was appointed Ogle County State's Attorney 2 years ago and has worked in the office for 10 1/2 years. He worked in Ogle County twice in his career.
Rock was also a defense attorney in Rockford for 10 1/2 years. He begins his new job on December 1st.
Eric Morrow will begin his new position as Ogle County State's Attorney also on December 1st.
