3 people suffered injuries yesterday evening following a 3-vehicle crash in rural Polo.
The accident took place at around 5:30 in the 1,000 block of North Lowell Park Road.
Reports indicate that a car driven by 30-year old James Lewison of Mt. Morris went out of control and turned sideways into oncoming traffic.
Vehicles driven by 33-year old Jeana Boeck and 32-year old Zachery Pennington, both from Mt. Morris, were involved in the accident.
Boeck and a child in her car along with Pennington were transported by ambulance to KSB Hospital in Dixon with minor injuries.
Lewison was not hurt in the crash. He was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The incident remains under investigation.
