The completion of the School Avenue bridge project in Rochelle has been delayed again.
City officials had hoped that the bridge would have been open for traffic last month. City Engineer Sam Tesreau said that the project should be completed by the middle of November.
He said work still needs to be done on pavement of the approaches to the bridge along with laying of concrete and the railings.
The 1st delay on the bridge took place this past summer due to a gas line.
The recent problems centered around the weather.
