3 people suffered injuries last night following an alcohol related accident in rural Stillman Valley.
Reports indicate that a car driven by 52-year old Scott Schaben of Rockford was traveling westbound in the 14,000 block of Route 72 when it crossed the center line and side swiped a eastbound pick-up truck driven by 60-year old Robert Carroll of Monroe Center.
Schaben's car continued in the eastbound lane and hit a vehicle driven by 52-year old Elaine Eckert of Oswego.
Schaben, Eckert, and a 15-year old passenger in the Eckert car were taken by ambulance to a Rockford hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Carroll refused medical treatment at the scene.
Ogle County Sheriff's Police arrested Schaben on the charge of DUI. He also received tickets for improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
