The Ogle County board met in special session yesterday evening as they held a budget hearing dealing with the 2015 fiscal year.
Total revenue along with expenditures will be at 13.8 million dollars. The appropriations and levies will come in at 38.9 million dollars.
Board Chairman Kim Gouker of Byron who is also the Chairman of the Finance Committee said it will be another tight budget for the 12 month period.
Property taxes were down by $18,000 from last year as it totaled just over 4 million dollars.
Gouker was glad that no employees were layed off from any of the departments.
The Ogle County board will approve the final numbers in the 2015 Fiscal Year budget on November 18th.
