General Motors is recalling more than a half-million vehicles. Three crashes and two injuries have been linked to one recall involving 290-thousand SUVs in the U.S. that have loose nuts. The recall affects the 2010 through 2015 model Cadillac SRX as well as 2011 and 2012 Saab 9-4X SUVs. GM says the toe link adjuster bolts might be loose and cause the link to separate.
Additionally GM is recalling about 90-thousand 2013-2015 model Chevrolet Sparks models because a rust issue can cause one of the hood latches to stick and the hood could open unexpectedly. These recalls are in addition to Monday's announced recall of 120-thousand Cadillac SRX SUVs. So far this year GM has issued 71 separate recalls.
