Rain slowing up fall harvest in Illinois

The wet weather is putting a damper on harvesting efforts across the state. Farmers had only taken 14-percent of the corn crop and ten-percent of soybeans at the beginning of this week. And with more rain in the forecast, things could be held up even more. State Climatologist Jim Angel says the rain is expected to continue for much of the month of October. He says the harvest pace is behind the five-year average.
