The state is cracking down on people who use fake IDs. Secretary of State Jesse White says anyone caught with the IDs could spend up to three years behind bars, have their license suspended for a year, and pay up to 25-thousand dollars in fines. He says the Internet makes it easy for teens to get their hands on fake IDs because foreign companies are selling them for a small fee. His staff is heading out to colleges across the state to educate students on the risks associated with getting fake IDs.
