2 area residents will be doing some time in prison after they pled guilty to felony charges in Ogle County.
The 1st case involves 28-year old Joseph Coster of Mt. Morris who pled guilty to the offense of aggravated battery. The altercation took place on June 13th of this year.
Coster was sentenced to 4 years in the Department of Corrections.
The charge of aggravated domestic battery was dismissed by the state due to his guilty plea.
The 2nd case involves 27-year old Andrew Garkey of Rockford who pled guilty to the felony offense of burglary.
The break-in took place in August of 2013. Garkey was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
The 2nd charge of burglary along with 3 counts of theft were dismissed by the state following the guilty plea in court.
