Ogle County Sheriff's Police along with the FBI have arrested a Milton, Florida man in connection with a bank robbery in Davis Junction last month.
29-year old Adam Sanborn was taken into custody in Chicago yesterday after he allegedly held-up the Byron Bank off Route 72 on August 23rd. He allegedly handed a teller a note and a weapon was implied. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the bank. No one suffered any injuries.
Sanborn was taken into custody without incident. He is scheduled to appear in Federal Court on Monday in Rockford.
The investigation continues in the bank robbery.
Ogle County Sheriff's Police also continue to investigate an armed robbery which took place last month at the Casey's General Store in Creston. Money was taken from the business and a handgun was displayed by the male subject.
No one suffered any injuries.
