A Rochelle man has received a sentence of 2 years in the Departmenrt of Corrections after he pled guilty to the felony offense of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Authorities arrested 26-year old Maxwell Arne.
The incident took place on January 14th of this year. Arne was also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. That charge was dismissed following the guilty plea.
Arne had also been charged with escape when he violated his electronic monitoring device. The charge was also dismissed by the state with the felony guilty plea.
