The phrase "Branding" has been used during the past several months in Rochelle dealing with a new image for the community.
Roger Brooks International has been hired at a cost of $100,000 in an attempt to bring in new businesses and have more people live in the community in the future. They plan to begin their project the 1st part of 2015.
During yesterday's program "Let The People Know", Gredco Director Jason Anderson talked about the "Branding" proposal for the city. He said that the city need an identity to draw people to love in the community. Figures show that over 70 percent of people who work in Rochelle do not live in the community.
Anderson said that it will take 3 to 5 years before the work is completed in the community. He said that Brooks is very optimistic about the project.
"Let The People Know" is heard on Wednesday afternoons at 12:30 on Newstalk 1060 and rebroadcast Saturday mornings at 6 on Newstalk 1060 and Sunday mornings at 6 on "The Coyote".
