No charges will be filed against the parents of a 16-year old boy from Rock Falls following a shooting that took place last March that killed 15-year old Matt Anderson.
Brady Osborne has been charged with the felony offense of reckless conduct after a gun discharged into the chest of Anderson who was a student at Rock Falls High School.
The shooting took place at Osborne's home. He is the son of Illinois State Trooper Troy Osborne.
According to state law, a gun must be secured if a child lives in the home and is younger than 14 years old. Brady Osborne was 15 years old at the time of the shooting.
The teen returns to Whiteside County court for a hearing on September 22nd.
