A woman fron Lee is back on the streets today following a drug arrest by Rochelle police Friday afternoon during a traffic stop.
23-year old Veronica Bestler was arrested on the felony offense of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Police found 2 small bags of prescription drugs in her possession
The Lee woman was also wanted on a DeKalb County warrant for the original charge of resisting arrest and an Ogle County warrant for a traffic violation.
Bestler's vehicle was originally stopped for speeding which she received a ticket for along with driving on a suspended license, improper display of registration, and having no insurance.
An Ogle County judge set bond at $10,000 for Bestler yesterday which she posted 10 percent of that figure and released from jail on the felony drug offense.She was given a court date of August 22nd for an arraignment.
She also posted bond on the warrants.
