RMU has announced that today, the Water Division will start replacing a fire hydrant a 9th Street and 4th Ave. 9th Street will be closed between 4th and Lincoln Avenues while they are doing the work. The southbound lane of traffic will be partially closed this evening after the preliminary work is completed. On Wednesday, the crew will again close a portion of 9th street while they finish the hydrant replacement.
At this time, the city has not scheduled any water service interruptions.
