Ogle County Sheriff's Police continue to investigate a report of a gun shot yesterday morning west of Rochelle from a person walking along Route 38.
The alleged incident took place at around 4:30 as police received word of a male subject walking along the highway with a handgun.
He was located a short time later by Rochelle police near Centerpoint Drive.
There are no reports of any injuries or damage done from a handgun at this time. The person police are talking with speaks very little English.
Police have found no gun at this time and no arrest has been made.
