An Oregon man received a sentence of 2 1/2 years in the Department of Corrections Tuesday following a drug bust that took place in February of 2013.
30-year old Richard Gallagher was arrested on the felony offense of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis.
Police executed a search warrant in the 2,000 block of South 2nd Street in Daysville. They seized around 86 grams of cannabis along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and firearm ammunition.
Gallagher was also originally charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and firearm ammunition by a felon. Those charges were dismissed by the state following yesterday's guilty plea.
Also arrested in February of 2013 was 24-year old Brooke Lozano of Oregon. The drug charges and resisting arrest offense were dismissed by the state.
