Bond remains at $250,000 for a Rochelle man following a drug bust earlier this month in the Hub City.
32-year old Juan Olguin has been charged with the Class "X" felony offense of unlawful possession of a controled substance with the intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a park. He was also charged with the Class 3 felony of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
The drug bust took place during the early morning hours of July 11th at 107 7th Avenue, apartment #9. Police seized over 30 grams of cocaine with a street value of several thousand dollars along with 3 handguns and money.
Also arrested was 23-year old Ashley Jones of Rochelle. She was charged with the Class "X" felony offense of unlawfull possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a park.
Olguin remains in jail in lieu of the $250,000 bond. He returns to court on July 30th for a preliminary hearing. At that time, he is scheduled to plead guilty or innocent to the charges.
Jones is out of jail following the posting of 10 percent of a $10,000 bond last Friday. That figure was reduced by an Ogle County judge as the bond was originally set at $50,000.
Jones will also return to Ogle County court on July 30th for a preliminary hearing.
