Two men were arrested Friday night and face Aggravated Battery charges. The Ogle County Sheriff's Office reports that at approximately 11:07 last night, Ogle County Deputies along with Dixon Rural EMS and The Lee County Sheriff’s department were dispatched to 8288 South Route 2 in reference to a fight in progress. After an investigation 32 year old Billy Gene Durbin of Taylorville was arrested for Aggravated Battery. and, 41 year old Christopher Young of Maroa was arrested for Aggravated Battery and Driving Under The Influence Of Alcohol. Both Durbin and Young were transported to the Ogle County Jail where they are being held in lieu of bond.
On Friday, the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Arthur Malarchik of Rochelle on 2 oustanding warrants for No Driver's License and Failure to Appear. Malarchik posted bond and will appear in court at a later date.
Also Friday, 46 year old Duane Leonard of Belvidere was transported to the Ogle County Jail from Winnebago Co Jail. He was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant with an original charge of Driving on a Revoked License. Leonard did not post bond and will appear in court next week.
And 35 year old John Hill of Roscoe was arrested by the Ogle Co Sheriff’s Office in Leaf River for 2 outstanding warrants. One for Failure to Appear and the other for Petition to Revoke Probation. Hill also has a Sentencing Order with no bond. He will appear in court on Monday.
