A Poplar Grove woman has pled guilty to 3 counts of home invasion following an incident that took place in December of 2012 in Rochelle.

25-year old Melissa Christianson was arrested by local police.

The female victim suffered a cut to her throat during the altercation. A small amount of money was taken from her purse.

Rochelle police had also issued a warrant for the arrest of 34-year old Shundale Haney of Rochelle who was involved with the home invasion. He was killed during a high speed car chase in Texas a short time after the incident in the Hub City.

Rochelle police were assisted in the arrest of Christianson by authorities in Phoenix, Arizona. She told officials in that state about the home invasion confrontation prior to her arrest.
