School officials in the Rochelle Elementary District are looking at another tight budget with the new fiscal year. A budget workshop will take place on August 12th along with a public hearing on the final numbers on September 16th prior to the board meeting.
Superintendent Todd Prusator is hoping for some help from the state.
Bids were approved last night for dairy products along with bakery items for the district. The same 2 companies worked with the schools last year.
The board also talked about home school students participating in extra curricular activities in the district. RTHS already has this policy.
No final decisions were made last night.
The board met in executive session to talk about employees in the district. No action was taken following the closed session.
