Residents in Rochelle enjoyed another outstanding fireworks show last night celebrating July 4th.
The Rochelle Fire Department were back firing off the explosive devices after a company put on the show last year.
Local residents may have noticed that the fireworks show was held just north along 20th Street this year.
The problem was due to the waterway which was too wet from the recent rain. This is the area the fire department normally shoots off the fireworks.
This year, they had to go north of that location in a soybean field.
The hope to return to the waterway next year.
