The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-1 Tornado struck Earlville earlier this week. Storms ripped through LaSalle County late Monday night, with winds of more than 80-miles an hour knocking down trees, ripping off roofs, and knocking out power. The electricity was off for about 12-hours but was restored sometime yesterday afternoon.
There were no reports of any injuries.
