Officials in Rochelle along with other taxing bodies in the community plan to work with a firm which will established an image for the town in hopes to bringing more people to the Hub City.
Roger Brooks International has been chosen at a price of $100,000 as they hope the plan can begin this fall.
Figures show that over 70 percent of people who work in Rochelle do not live in the community. City Manager Dave Plyman said that they need to change that number in the future.
The council did approve changes in the City Manager's contract last night. There will be an indefinite time period under the agreement rather than a deadline when it ends.
The underground conduit installation project for RMU was approved at a price tag of just over $713,500.
The Street Department also plans to purchase a tandem axie cab and chassis along with other related equipment at a cost of $148,400.
