Loves Park man pleads not guilty in sexual assault case in Ogle County

A Loves Park man pled not guilty in Ogle County court Wednesday in connection with an alleged sexual assault incident that took place at a home in rural Davis Junction.

22-year old Kenneth Turner has been charged with 2 counts of the felony offense of predatory criminal sexual assault.

Sheriff's police investigated the alleged incident at the home in rural Davis Junction which resulted in a warrant for the arrest of Turner.

In court yesterday, probable cause was found in the case as Turner demanded a jury trial. He returns to court on June 9th for a pre-trial conference.

Turner remains in jail in lieu of a 1 million dollar bond.

The alleged confrontation took place between January of 2010 and May of this year.
