The Kings jumped out to a five-goal lead and rolled to a 6-2 win over the Ducks in Game Seven of the West semifinals from the Honda Center. Justin Williams, Jeff Carter and Mike Richards all lit the lamp in the first period. Anze Kopitar and Marian Gaborik added goals in the second while Tanner Pearson capped the scoring in the third. Jonathan Quick stopped 25 shots for Los Angeles, which will meet the Blackhawks in the Western Conference Final. Kyle Palmieri and Corey Perry scored the goals for Anaheim while John Gibson allowed four goals on 18 shots. Jonas Hiller relieved him, allowing two more goals on 12 shots.
Game #1 of the Western Conference Finals will be tomorrow afternoon at the United Center. The Blackhawks have the home ice advantage in the series.
